Scope of Works

The works consisted of a full conversion of an existing office building, into a new Rolls Royce and Mclaren Showroom, over two floors and of over 18,000 sq foot.

The installation consisted of a full turnkey mechanical, electrical and air conditioning package, to a state of the art facility to go with the high-quality required by the client, for their super luxurious brands.

The design and installation included high specification lighting, lighting control and specialist auditorium lighting, all which can be controlled remotely and via a specialist app. Along with the lighting a PA/VA system was installed, alongside, power, fire alarms.

The mechanical installation included close controlled heating and air conditioning for the environment, together with a full domestic water, above ground drainage and high specification sanitaryware.

To the rear of the showroom a new workshop and cleaning bay area was constructed consisting of high bay, gas fired heating, water supplies, power and high bay lighting installation, again to the high standards required for the project.

Ferrari Workshop

Scope of Works:

The workshop service centre installation consisted of a new high level tubular radiant heating system to the service area, including extension of all high level gas pipework, commissioning of the heating system and a full service of some existing heaters. The electrical installation consisted of new high bay LED lighting, fire alarms and small power installations. These works included the coordination and connections to client supplied equipment.

All works were completed in line with Ferrari’s corporate identity and specifications. These works were completed to a tight programme of works to ensure that there was limited disruption to the operation of the service centre.

 

 

 

KWS Biotest Bristol

Scope of Works:

The project consisted of the building services design, installation and commissioning of electrical and mechanical services for a new laboratory and clean room facility.

The new mechanical installation included works to the, domestic hot and cold water, natural gas installation, above ground drainage installation, which includes provision for acids and toxic waste product, ventilation, air conditioning and insulation to services. Upon completion all works are fully tested, commissioned and set to work.

The electrical services carried out included works to, main switchgear, uninterrupted power supplies, sub distribution, general lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, small power, data, structured cabling, disabled alarms and refuge. Once again these installations were fully tested, commissioned and set to work.

Accrington Academy

The project was to carry out the services design, installation and commissioning of the electrical and mechanical services to the academy sports centre pavilion.

The new installation included works to the ventilation, air conditioning and insulation to services. Upon completion all works are fully tested, commissioned and set to work.

The electrical services carried out were works including, main switchgear, sub distribution, general lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, small power, data, structured cabling, lightning protection. Once again these installations were fully tested, commissioned and set to work.

Park Inn, York

Project: Park Inn York.

Client: Rezidor Group.

Scope of Works:

The project consist of the upgrade of the domestic hot water services, boosted cold water and low pressure hot water services, and electrical supplies.

These works were upgraded whilst the entire hotel (200+ bedrooms, with associated communal areas, kitchens etc) remained live and fully functional. This consisted of installing pipework to new domestic hot water generators, cold water booster set and new LPHW boilers. The new systems were connected into the existing building throughout various areas including numerous live break ins on sizes up to 133mm copper, over a four week period. These connections were all carried out in a controlled manner through close liaison with hotel management, to ensure that works were completed within strict time frames to ensure no guests or staff were inconvenienced in any way.

Following completion of all the new works the systems were brought on line in a methodical and controlled manner throughout the hotel, in phases. This facilitated the smooth transition from the old system on to the new installation.

Wythenshawe Hospital

 

Project: Wythenshawe Hospital – CF Unit fit out

Scope of Works:

We completed building services works within the hospital. The works were carried out whilst adjacent areas remained occupied. Due to the nature of the works and the building remaining occupied all works were carried out after hours (between 19:00 and 06:00 Monday to Friday) plus Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

All works were carried out to HTM requirements as would be expected of an installation with a fully functioning hospital.

Orbit Developments – Parklands 5

Scope of Works

The project consist of the services design, installation and commissioning of electrical services to a new build office unit of 55,000sq foot adjacent the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.

The electrical services carried out were works which included, main switchgear, sub distribution, general lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, small power, data, structured cabling, lightning protection disabled alarms and refuge. These installations were fully tested, commissioned and set to work.

This project was particularly challenging due to short programme, which allowed us 26 weeks from commencement of design to tenant occupation. This was achieved to the satisfaction of everyone involved including the client, main contractor and tenant alike.

Boundary Mill

Scope of Works

The project consisted new external lighting, lighting columns, external mains supplies and lightning protection to a Boundary Mill store. The works were completed within very tight deadlines in order to achieve completion of the store to the client’s requirements.

General Medical Council

Scope of Works

The building services works were completed within this prestigious building in Manchester. These were completed on an occupied floor also with the remainder of the building in operation. Due to the nature of the works and the building remaining occupied all works were carried out after hours (between 19:00 and 06:00 Monday to Friday) plus Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

All services were carried out to the General Medical Council requirements whilst also maintaining continuity with the landlords systems. This entailed ensuring the strict landlord requirements with respect to connections, metering and compliance with existing manufacturers and systems were strictly adhered to and adopted.
